Paul Nash is a Chartered Civil Engineer who obtained his post graduate industry experience working with Hyder Consulting and Atkins.

He founded Caley Water in 2006 as a water and environmental consultancy initially supplying hydraulic modelling services to Atkins & Scottish Water Horizons. Since this time, under Paul’s leadership the company has continued to grow and develop its range of services and client base. Paul is the Managing Director of Caley Water overseeing its commercial and technical operations as well as undertaking the key account management for Scottish Water Horizons.

Ross McKinney is a Chartered Civil Engineer who obtained his post graduate experience in the water and environment sector, initially with Hyder Consulting before moving to New Zealand for two years to work for SKM. Ross then returned to the UK to work as a Principal Engineer and Team Leader with Atkins prior to joining the management team of Caley Water in April 2012.

Ross is a Director of Caley Water undertaking key account management for Scottish Water and he provides technical leadership to the project team; as well as assisting with the company’s commercial & HR operations.

Graham Nash is a Chartered Accountant having trained with KPMG in Edinburgh.

Following qualification in 1993 he joined the finance division at Bank of Scotland as part of the Group Financial Management Reporting team. In 1997 he joined Kwik-Fit as Business Analyst. In 2000 he launched a retail business in Central Scotland which quickly became a market leader in its sector. Following the business sale in 2007 he took up a financial trading role. He currently advises and assists a number of SMEs in various industry sectors. Graham’s primary role is the Finance Director of Caley Water overseeing the company’s accounts and assisting on many commercial aspects.

Tom Liddell is a Chartered Chemical and Environmental engineer with extensive experience in Process Operations and Process Design.

Tom has a diverse range of skills in the Design, Construction of Process Operations which is further augmented by an array of Environmental & Waste Management competencies. Tom acts as an Environmental Consultant to Caley Water and also oversees the Field Operations for the Flow and Pressure Testing.

Michael is a chartered civil engineer who joined the team in March 2013, having graduated with a MEng (hons) in Civil Engineering with Construction Management. Michael achieved charted status from the Institution of Civil Engineers in 2018. Michael oversees the majority of project work we undertake for Atkins, Stantec and Scottish Water.

During his spare time, Michael enjoys all things outdoors and is a keen hiker focused on Munro ‘bagging’.

Nico joined the team in November 2016, having graduated from the Université Catholique de Louvain in Belgium with an MSc in Environmental Engineering. Nico oversees the team working on Network Impact Assessments for Scottish Water as well as working with our clients in Canada.

In his free time Nico enjoys rowing, hiking and photography. Nico’s dog Elsie is often in the office with us.

Colin initially joined Caley Water in 2012 and became Chartered with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) in 2018. After a year away, he returned to Caley Water in 2025 as Principal Modeller and Technical Manager. Colin is a highly experienced modeller and regularly undertakes model audits for a range of clients.
Outside of work, Colin is a keen squash player and enjoys watching rugby.

Mark joined the team initially as an intern in 2016 before joining full-time in 2017 after graduating with an MEng in Civil Engineering from the University of Edinburgh.

Mark is currently travelling around Europe and is working as a contractor in the meantime. He continues to deliver high qulaity work for Caley Water whether based in Edinburgh, Ireland, Spain...or wherever Mark finds himself...

Logan joined the Caley Water team in September 2021 having graduated from the University of Edinburgh with an MSc in Environmental Sustainability. Logan is the sustainability officer for Caley Water and oversees aspects of our Drainage Impact Assessment work for Scottish Water Horizons.

In her spare time Logan enjoys kickboxing, Scottish Reeling, and baking.

Nathan joined the Caley Water team in August 2022 having graduated from Loughborough University with an MSci in Physical Geography. Nathan is the company’s health and safety coordinator.

In his spare time, Nathan enjoys running, diving, and surfing.

Jinny joined the team in September 2023, having recently graduated from The University of Edinburgh with a MSc in Geographic Information Systems.

In her free time, Jinny enjoys food, photography, and plants.

Ronnie joined the team in September 2023, having recently graduated with an MSc in Infrastructure and Urban Systems from Sheffield University. Previously, Ronnie had been working as an engineer in Kenya.

In his free time, Ronnie enjoys volunteering and playing football.

Hemalatha joined the Caley team in September 2024. She attained her degree from Bharathidasan University in India.
During her free time, Hemalatha enjoys reading and cooking Indian food.

Elsie came to Caley Water in November 2022. Nico's dog, Elsie is in the office most days of the week, during which time her main roles include making staff feel good, being available for strokes and hugs and watching you whilst you eat.

Adam first worked as a contractor for Caley Water in February 2022, where after a spell he left to work for Wessex Water. Adam came back to Caley early 2025, and is now a permanent (part-time) member of staff. He has hydraulic Modelling experience with Atkins, Wessex Water and Caley Water. When not working for Caley Water, Adam runs a Website Company and creates Columbo Villain Merchandise.

Ye Lwin joined the team in May 2025, having recently completed his MSc in Environmental Sustainability from the Edinburgh Napier University. With a background in Civil Engineering, he brings a strong passion for water resource management and sustainable development.
Outside of work, Ye enjoys playing football and going on weekend strolls.

Chloe joined Caley Water in September 2025. She has a Masters Degree from Glasgow University in Earth Futures, and an MA in Geography from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh.
In her free time, Chloe enjoys running and baking (but not at the same time).
